To us, maintaining a competent, trustworthy, and friendly staff is the most important factor in running an office. Our advocates have personally experienced the strain of dealing with the insurances during a family member's or friend’s ordeal. Cindy Dicara
Cindy has been in the medical field for 15 years, with experience in the specialty fields of Internal Pathology, Laboratory, Orthopedic Surgery, Counseling and Mental Health, and Nursing Homes. “I have always enjoyed the billing process” Cindy says. “I think it has to do with the idea that I am directly helping someone in a situation that I went through.”
Cindy’s father, Ken, was diagnosed in 1985 with appendiceal adenocarcinoma muncinous, an incredibly rare form of cancer developed inside the appendix. She eventually became his primary care taker, accompanying him to the majority of his medical appointments. Cindy knows firsthand the headache and heartache of dealing with insurances when a loved one is going through a tough time. "Successfully appealing a denied claim is definitely a high point in my job" she explains. "It's a great feeling to know that the insurances scheme to skip out on payment has been denied instead of the payment for the patient."
